How to Overcome Writer's Block

The dreaded ailment of writer's block is when the writer fails to find the words to complete the work in hand. There are many articles and even books written on this subject, because if your income is earned from your writing, it is important to overcome this problem.

Prevention is better than any cure in the medical profession, and perhaps it is no different with writing. A study of writers over a 5-year period, indicated that habitual writers suffered much less.

This means, you must write something every day, and get into the habit of writing a minimum amount of words. Setting a specific time for this creative writing, and letting the craft become a daily event, cements the habit.
